Sailing beneath thousands of feet of billowing sails in the Caribbean, Mediterranean or South East Asia provides numerous opportunities for families to bond and to share unique and exciting experiences away from computer games, TV and social media. Star Clippers’ unique tall ship sailing voyages are crewed by friendly, hands on crew, to hoist the sails and navigate the ship, organise complimentary water sports, low key evening games and entertainment and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in the ships’ free-seating restaurants.

January – New Year bucket list

Star Flyer’s January 19th 2019 itinerary, departing from St. Maarten, reads like a catalogue of the most people’s idea of some of the world’s most exquisite and idyllic islands. The ultimate bucket list Caribbean sailing includes three days cruising around the British Virgin Islands and port calls into Anguilla, St. Kitts and St. Barts. Palm trees, deserted beaches, blue skies and turquoise seas will be a daily occurrence for guests on board the spectacular and graceful Star Flyer, with its four towering masts and billowing, cream sails. The ship will sail much of the time under wind power, powered by the gentle Caribbean breezes, making this one of the most eco friendly cruises available too.

Star Clippers is offering ten themed itineraries on board its three graceful tall ships in 2019, during sailings in the Mediterranean, South Asia and Caribbean. Included among them are five sailings with yoga practitioners on board, others with a celebrity fitness instructor, famous fashion stylist, Italian chef and published author in Mediterranean history and archeology.

A myriad of new destinations and itineraries featuring spectacular sailings beneath billowing sails, are featured online and in Star Clippers’ new Unique Sailing Adventures brochure.
