Indonesia cruises are certainly becoming increasingly popular, as more and more people become aware of this beautiful and diverse destination. Spread across 17,000 different islands, it is the world’s largest archipelago nation. Expect breathtaking natural sights, such as waterfalls and volcanoes; peaceful beaches, one of which features pink sand; and exotic wildlife that fills the land, sky and sea. Bali and Komodo are just two of the islands that you may be familiar with, each demonstrating Indonesia’s main draws perfectly. The former is home to luxury resorts upon golden sands, whilst the latter is the where you will visit the beautiful Komodo National Park, home to the fearsome Komodo dragon – the world’s largest lizard.
Our Indonesia cruises take place between April and October, as this is the country’s dry season, on board Star Clipper. The itineraries are typically round-trips from Bali, during which we can offer the chance to extend your stay with pre or post-cruise hotel accommodation.
As well as the highlights mentioned above, you will have the opportunity to meet some of the local people in this welcoming and caring country. You will learn how they weave the famous Ikat fabric, see some of the only hand-crafted boats built without blueprints and taste delicious dishes such as nasi goreng, martabak manis and chicken satay.
